Restaurant Reviews…

Due to an epic fail on my part, I didn’t post last nights meal, which was a purple cauliflower mac and cheese.  I’ll hopefully get to it tonight, along with whatever makes it to tonight’s plate.  It had been way too long since my last post, and to prevent any further time from going by I decided to consider the idea of posting some of my restaurant reviews, on the Carnivore and Vegetarian.

As some of you may know, I write a lot of reviews on Yelp.com and have blogged about Yelp in the past, but I wonder if it is worth posting some of my favorite and worthy reviews on here as well.  Maybe you might think that its pointless to double post, but there are plenty (I hope!) of people that visit this site that don’t use Yelp and vice versa. This might spread my reviews to more people, or just make me feel good, probably the latter.

Anyway, without further adieu, I will post my first, of many or last, review here on this blog.  I wont lie, I actually got this idea from a blog that I just started reading/following a few hours ago – I Flip for Food. They are new to the blogging scene and I noticed a review of Komi, which is where I ate one of the best meals of my life.  I too have reviewed Komi, but rather than copy that, I am going to post my review of Obelisk, one of the best meals I’ve had in DC.  I decided to just copy it word for word, and it will be added as a separate blog entry (for searching sake and keeping the length of the entry shorter).

About Evan

I like to eat. I like to cook. I like to eat what I cook. Now, I will share with you what I like to cook. My wife and I may be a vegetarian and a carnivore, but it doesn’t mean we can’t cook a nice meal with both, without compromising taste. I will share my creative meals of the Carnivore and the Vegetarian.
